A photographer is suing Las Vegas Raiders receiver Davante Adams for pushing him to the ground following a game. The Raiders lost the game to the Chiefs, and as Adams was exiting the field, the student photographer got in his way. Adams’ response was to push the photographer to the ground. Adams apologised immediately after the incident.
Park Zebley is a student at the University of Missouri, Kansas City, and works as a freelance photographer. He was covering the game for ESPN and was carrying video equipment at the time. Since the incident, he claims to have sustained whiplash injuries, headaches and concussion.
Zebley also claims he feared for his life, receiving death threats after his contact information was circulated online. Adams has already been charged with one count of misdemeanour assault, however, for Zebley, that is insufficient.
According to CNN Kansas, The lawsuit demands $25,000 for Zebley due to damages from “bodily physical injury, invasion of his privacy, fear, medical bills, past present and future emotional distress and lost income.” The incident was caught on camera.

The NFL did not suspend Adams following the incident. Adams apologized immediately after the game on social media, saying that he “felt horrible immediately.”
“Sorry to the guy I pushed over after the game,” Adams tweeted. “Obviously very frustrated at the way the game ended, and when he ran in front of me as I exited, that was my reaction, and I felt horrible immediately. That’s not me…MY APOLOGIES, man hope you see this.”
Zebley is also suing both the Raiders and Chief teams as well as Davante Adams.
