Announced a week ago, the Fujifilm X-S20 (buy here) is already seeing shortages and shipping delays. A few days ago, Nikkei reported that production for the Fuji X-S20 was expected to be 15,000 units per month. While Fuji expected this number to satisfy potential customers ordering the new APS-C mirrorless camera, it seems that didn’t.
Fujifilm has now posted a notice to the Fuji Japan website that, as usual, cites demand exceeding expectations. The company hasn’t stated exactly how long orders will be delayed. They have specified that it applies to both body-only orders as well as kits (buy here) that include the XC15-45mm f3.5-5.6 OIS PZ lens (buy here).
