The other advantage of the power adaptor was that I could use any power source such as AC, battery pack, generator without worrying about compatibility and other gubbins. I’ve shot time lapse using a Bluetti power back connected to the camera and it powered other devices for me to work whilst the camera carried on it’s business. The other advantage less cables and there less kit to forget and more importantly less points of failure.
